beloved friend of mine. isn't she attractive?
Yes! Very!
she ain't the most attractive girl(in terms of outlook) i've come across definitely. but, she's beautiful to me. your heart determines how beautiful you're. i mean.. for the past 18 years, i've come across different kinds of people. good and bad. some stay, some go. hi-bye friends, tons of it. true friends, i would say she's the only one. we've been through thunder and storms together, but that's not the point. she's the one who doesn't envy, doesn't jealous, doesn't compare, doesn't boost, doesn't hide, truly sincere, truly helpful, truly there for me, truly meant me well, truly give good advice, truly hears me out, truly makes me laugh, truly miss me, truly seek me, truly wanna build this friendship for many years to come. i agree she's a great talker, but it is not the aspect of being a good friend. at least, when she talks, i know that it's not bad-intentioned, not beating about the bush, not thinking so many rounds in her head before she replies me. SO, this is what makes her HER, a true friend. i mean..i've come across good friends whom i thought they'll be my true friends as well. yar, key point. THOUGHT. but oh well, somehow.. i just realised how fake they can be sometimes after a period of time. we ain't really open up to one another at all. one reason could be that she's unable to take comments/opinions. second reason could be she's never been herself infront of me, even when she communicates with me? sometimes we should really ask ourselves, how naked are we infront of our friends? i mean, totally transparent. even if when we talk, we have nothing to think or whatsoever. we won't even scare we may offend him/her. that's the level of friendship we should be aiming for, isn't it? friends, don't be shallow. look around you, how many true friends you have seriously? well, i have one. and one is enough because i know that whatever happens to me, i won't be alone. she'll be with me up till the day i meet God. i can tell and praise God for giving me such a friend in my earthly days. i can tell God how wonderful this friend of mine has been. how about you?
if you want to build a closer relationship with friends, take the first step to be yourself. secondly, fulfil your role as a friend. trust me. like what pastor kong said "if you draw nearer to God one step, He'll draw nearer to you hundreds or thousands of step". So same applies here, if you want a friend to draw closer to you, take the first step sincerely. be a real friend. then you'll be able to experience TRUE FRIENDSHIP.
