i promised i'll be back.
just that it's almost half past 12, a beginning of a brand new day. well, a penny for thought.. i've seen rich people spending like nobody business, pick an item without looking at price tags, walk in and out of the branded retail stores like LV, Gucci, Chanel etc.. it's like a norm for them to do that cuz' they simply have the money. they can spend however they want. well, normally they are either borned to be rich, or if not they are just some high rank executives, or if not, they have brains to earn a great deal of money or if not, they are a bunch who are fortunate enough to marry someone who can satisfy them a lifetime of material needs. what i'm trying to say here is in one way or another, it's either they're borned to have good life or they work for it. but seriously, have you seen a person who waits for cashflow to come, perhaps he/she may have a somebody whom he/she can rely on, but the person is just like any of us, earning a normal income, not rich, not poor, just enough to spend on necessities and an occassional splurge, while he/she continues to spend like nobody fucking business, on what? on designers' apparels which on average comes in 3-digit for per item. how often? as frequent as every 1 week or even just a few days. that's not all. luxury of visiting high class hotels for dinners/lunch every now and then, impulsive vacation trips, and all these burdens are created and thrown to that only person or perhaps a few others. yes, he/she feels happy. but what about the rest? all i can say is, i don't feel a single bit of envy except redundancy, absurdity and pathetic. |
